You are invited to our annual “Souper Bowl” Event on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. We invite you to bring a soup for our friendly soup competition. Who will be crowned the 2025 Soup Champion? Check out themom100.com for some special Souper Bowl recipes.
We’ll also have our annual auction! If you would like to donate new or re-gifted items for the auction, we will gladly accept them. Items may be brought to the church office weekday or Sunday mornings.
Our soup collection will “kick off” Sunday morning, February 9. Watch as the Narthex fills with cans of soup!
Donations of canned soup will be given to the Good Samaritan Food Pantry and funds raised at the Souper Bowl event will be designated for Calvary’s Feeding Ministries, which include the monthly Community Meal and Blessing Box. Total in-kind and monetary offerings will be reported to the “Souper Bowl of Caring,” a nation-wide movement to tackle hunger, celebrating its 35th year. These activities are proudly sponsored by the Calvary Lutheran Fellowship Team.
